Today, LaNelle, Steven and Andrew fly to SLC and then drive to BYU-Idaho to start a new semester. It was so fun to have LaNelle and Steven home for a week. We visited Heather, Kyle and Kalib and what fun it was at their pool, shopping and boating on the lake...at least until LaNelle took a bad hop on the innertube and bit her tongue almost off! YUCK! We spent some time at Wake Med ER where she got 11 stitches in her tongue and inner lower lip. The gory picture is on her blog. She spent most of her vacation unable to talk or eat. Still, it was good to be with her. We had a backyard circus party for the twins on Thursday when we got home, after lunch at the twins' school, La spent the day Friday with her best friend and then Saturday was Tiger day! Sunday after Church we drove to Conway to go to Church and spend the night with Daddy Tom and DeeDee and finally LaNelle was able to eat her very favorite pimento cheese. We shopped at the outlets Monday (LaNelle wore a ZERO at Anne Taylor...too skinny!!!) and returned home in time for Family Home Evening. A packed week and yet so many people she wanted to see that we missed. But, they will be home for Christmas. We will miss our Andrew but are so thankful he has the opportunity to attend BYU this semester (thanks to generous and loving family and friends!!!) and know he will continue getting stronger in that awesome atmosphere. So we send him with a smile but our hearts will be missing his infectious zany humor. Families are so awesome but distances are the pits!!! Come home safely, you three!!! We love you!

That's a cute picture of the three of them 'crossing the street' to the next semester of life. I enjoyed reading your blog and even seeing the cute kids in that ugly orange! :) I love you and hope we can get together and maybe LaNelle and I will be have more comfortable mouths for the next visit so we can actually visit!
This pic was taken at the hard Rock Amusement park Backstage tour. If you haven't been, it's free and fun! near the old Waccamaw outlets in Myrtle Beach where they are building a fantastic amusement park that opens next Spring!
We so miss you all! We had so much fun and can't wait to get back at Christmas! Such a dorky but funny picture. And you make it sound like I am anorexic which I'm not (especially after some good pimento cheese and BBQ) Oh how I miss the south!
I'm glad ya'll had so much fun that week! very eventful too!!!
